Another local courthouse...one I have only taken drive-bys of prior to this...and none of them successful. I attempted to capture some of the features of this courthouse a week or two ago. 
To me, another title of this post could have been Stacked. Seems like one beautiful feature is stacked on top of another.
The doors are beautiful...not overly decorated, but still beautiful.
And the top of the courthouse is a real winner....I always wonder does anyone ever go up to the top.

Another beauty, Rose, thank you so much. It is so amazing that the early buyilders could create such beauty without all the technology we have today---and the buildings are still standing. they weren't planned to be torn down in 10 years--LOL and thank goodness. MB
Nice pictures of the courthouse. I think most, if not all, courthouses in the U.S. are beautiful.
This building does like stacked like a multi-layered cake! Very pretty and ornate in decoration. I like the beautiful style used. This is a fine series. If they leave the Christmas lights up all year long...then probably no one gets up there without some very good reason!

'Stacked' would make a good description of this courthouse. It is truly beautiful.
Good description! They just don't build neat buildings like this any more.
