That is a very cool apartment building. I love the wide porches, perfect for sitting out on a hot day.
I love all the outdoor "sitting" space!
It is an amazingly spacious open air design. I agree with you that it looks like it needs a special place to be. Nice one.
I really like the double verandas on this building. I could certainly enjoy sitting out there taking in the beautiful mountain scenery.
Looks like something you'd see in New Orleans. Very ornate! :)
I've also always wondered about the history of that place. Like you say, it looks out of place.
This is indeed very strange...The columns look like they've been brought in from some southern Mansion and stuck here to give the place some class!
That looks like a neat place to live. I love the porches, tho I'm a porch kind of girl.
