I have not been out and about much lately, so having to rely on the strip pits for my shots.

These are from a couple weeks ago...the evening glow was just beginning to try to start....

but as you can see it it was overcast and didn't have much chance. It was there for just a minute...I think the middle shot shows it.

i do like winter grasses. broody skies, too.
Beautiful! Such a desolate expanse and lovely golden grasses.
Beautiful muted colours of grass and sky. I really like the last photo. You should have that one enlarged and framed.
Yes, the middle shot does show it best. It must be amazing to live so close to this wonderful place!
I like the wide open grassy plains. Your selfie shadow shot is a nice addition.
I like these pictures - looks very flat and goes on as far as the eye can see. Quite gentle colours as well.
beautiful and I like that last shot the best of all, it says Lonely and i would love to drive that road.
Lucky you to have such a great place to take photos!
Lovely evocative shots! I really love the road pic.
I like the yellowish winter grass as well, very nice job with these shots. Richard
These three a a good capture of the limited warmth of the late afternoon light. We've had such heavy overcasts that pictures simply lack contrast and require such slow shutter speeds or very high ISOs.
Those are gorgeous!!!
Beautiful, seems you can see the sky forever!
