Another charming barn...

I am not normally charmed by metal wrapped barns...but then there are always exceptions. And this was one of them. I think they must have been trying to save it.
Something must have happened, or they ran out of money before they got to the roof.
It has sure been a beauty in its day, and still holds a lot of charm for me.

This is my entry to Tricia's Barn Charm Meme.

That's too bad it's so in need of repair. It must've been a handsome barn when it was in tip-top shape.

that barn certainly has a lot of charm. looks as though a storm might have had it in its grip at one time... hope all is well~

It must have been a real beauty in its day, but looks very sad now. Hard to tell what they were trying to do. Maybe the wind caught the tin on the roof after they begin repairing the sides.

Nice rusty roof on this barn. It does look like the wind has been slowly tearing away the metal roof.

It has a beautiful shape to it still! The peeling roof adds charm.

Oh, the poor thing needs a lot of work. I bet it was a beauty in its day.

That barn has a cool shape. I hope it is rescued some day. Meanwhile, I agree that it has a lot of charm.

I love the shape of that roof! It's very cool! Too bad it's in such bad condition now.

Love the shape of the barn. Too bad they didn't fix it up before it's too late. Wonder if it got hit by a wind storm?

But cape the children away for playing there!

a lot of work went into that barn, sad to see it in such disrepair...

I love how in that first photo, the light makes a special pattern of the roof--almost looks like a collection of triangles. Terrific photo.
I imagine the roof is coming at some pt. or why else would they bother to side?
Great barn!

Must have been a beauty in its day!

It's a fine old barn. Too bad their renovation work was stopped before they had finished.

I don't care for the modern coverings either, but it is better than letting it go completely. The rusty roof is lots of fun.

That's a great shape to the barn even though it has seen better days.

Wow! I like this one. It definitely has seen better days. Looks like some of those metal pieces could fly off in a wind storm! thanks for stopping by.

Love the shape of it. Not sure I'd want to trust putting my equipment in there though.
