Leftovers for Barn Charm

I have not got to shoot many barns lately...this one I shot from the Rav. We were stopped and I was shooting past Roger.

You have to look close to see the doors.

This one below has been posted years ago on my Pics & Pieces blog...but I love it so am showing it again here. I don't know where this is at, just know that it is at least south of Terre Haute.

I think this one was at Tangier or Bloomingdale, Indiana but I would not swear to it.
Joining Tricia's Barn Charm meme with these.

All three are great barns!

Love that basketball hoop on the side of the barn. Looks like there was play along with all the work.

I can't explain my total fascination with old barns. Maybe it is because "they don't make 'em like they used to." There is just a charm, a reminder of the way life used to be. . . whatever it is, I love old barns! Thank you for sharing these pictures.

Great barns...glad you shared them with us!

All three are beautiful barns! I like the basketball hoop on the first one that has weathered along with the siding on the barn. I wonder how old the kid who shot hoops there is today....

Love those 'hidden' doors! And there's a basketball hoop too...

let's play some hoops. love the 2nd to the last shot. the barn shape is too cool. i think of my favorite shaped roofs would be the round roof. too neat. love the little stick out part ... such character. (:

Love the two-toned roofs on these. And, for shooting past someone and out of a car window, these are great pictures.

very cool. they should add a blue stripe to the red and white roof ;))

I like your barn for its charm and unusual roof. A great looking series. The closer in shots show the door very well. Nice post.

I really love how on that tip image the basket ball back board blends right in with the rest of the barn, and I loved the rest of the barn images as well, I love barns period! Richard

I love these Rose, you can barely see the basketball rim and back board they blend in so well.

Great barns and I really like the first one with its *hidden* doors. Then a barn with an "add-on" barn! I like the two-tone roof in the last image.

I like the shapes of the roof and the peeling paint, all the doors, the rust...very charming!

They all look great & wouldn't mind exploring them... I think I'm partial to the last one, tho... love the shape & the dark barn wood & how the corn crop stops even w/ the front of the barn

Thank you =)

Love the weathered look on all of these; they do look quite sturdy though. Thanks for stopping by at mine.

I swore I had commented on these shots already. Sigh. I'm losing it. lol

The second makes me chuckle. Looks like a mama and baby barn. lol
