Wild onions for Friday's fences + something fun!

Normally, I try to stick to the subject at hand...and will start out by doing just that....I could not believe these were wild onions. I am sure I must have known it in my youth, but Roger had to pull one up to convince me that it was indeed wild onions. I thought this one with the fence made a lovely shot. We had a woven wire fence around our yard as a kid...
And below is minus the fence but including a bee...
The above is my entry for Friday's fences....I hope to see you there.

Now to the fun part. Most of you probably know Theresa at The RunARound Ranch Report.

Each month she has a give-away of some of her artwork. You can click here to see what she has given away in the past. I am not sure how long I have been visiting her blog, but I finally won this beauty! She just put up this month's give-away yesterday. Check out her blog, become a follower, and leave a comment to enter.

I remember the smell of wild onions when playing in the yard as a child. The blooms are quite lovely as your photo proves.

What a nice surprise to win one of Theresa's great colored pencil drawings. They're real treasures.
