More from St. Joseph's college...

I meant to post these but forgot and posted the building in my last post.

These were taken in 2010....I cannot remember if we have even been by there since.  If we have it has only been a time or two....

I would love to go back again, but it is farther than is comfortable for Roger to go.

There were questions asked about the college and I intended to try to find the answer.   I first read that they intended to open it as a junior college this fall.  I tried to find if that had happened.  Instead I found:  "Saint Joseph’s College (SJC) is taking the first steps to bring academic life back to campus! The SJC staff is currently designing courses offering certifications for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Clinical Medical Assistants (CMA), along with electrocardiogram (EKG) and phlebotomy certificates."  So maybe it is going to be a while before it is really open.  Or maybe this is just something they are adding.  As I say, I have not investigated fully.

And someone ask about the green roofs...yes, I assumed they were copper.  I know that is what I thought when we were there.

What a lovely place! It definitely has some interesting sculpture. A wonderful series.

I dunno-- there's something unnerving about this place. Maybe just because it's wintry.

Hehe, I kinda get what Bill means... though I think it is more to do with its being empty and unloved. Once life returns (in whatever capacity) it will surely seem less foreboding! YAM xx

Very interesting Siri is the pictures each of which is excellent. I especially like that first one off the rugged rocks. The certification of those courses will take some time and effort and a lot of documentation I paid

Anything made of stone fascinates me. I especially love the stone arch.

Wow, this arch is amazing! How would you even build something like that? And what is that at the end, is it some kind of shrine or something? So unusual and mysterious!

Impressive stone work!!
The stones are so different from the ones we have here at Happy Trails that Ken has used.

The arch looks great! For that matter anything built with hewn rough stones has a charm of its own! Looks a bit mysterious...may be once it is occupies, the place will change. But I like this the way it is !
