A shame that such places have to exist to save the lives of such magnificent creatures. Good luck to Lorelei with her latest ambition; a friend of mine who went on to become an authority on freshwater biology started out with a jam-jar of tadpoles when he was four so everyone has to start somewhere!

Wonderful photos. It's kind of sad that such a place has to exist but good that there are people out there taking care of these beautiful creatures.
Wonderful pictures. Indiana has several wild animal rescue centers. I had heard of this one. Kids change their minds over time on what they want to be when they grow up. I wouldn't be surprised is she ended up being a photographer.

zoologist sounds good to me... I love Big Cats and the Bengals are my favorite.. these are so beautiful, especially like the second one.
These are very beautiful pictures and the animals are wonderful, they radiate dignity in addition to their beauty! 21 years, that sounds like old age?
She did very well. I love cats, big or small.
Your daughter took some cool photos, Rose. She has her mother's eye for photography. I just want to hug that big animal, but would be too scared to haha. That's wonderful that Lorelei wants to be a zoologist. : )
