Treasured...
This is a gourd birdhouse depicting my kitties. It was painted by Lorelei's mom. The above is Puss Puss and everyone knows right away that it is her.
And this is Bubbie...and it does look like him
and this was another kitty that is no longer with us.
I thought this was a nice detail. And did you notice the quilt wrapped around Puss and Bubbie is peeking out from under it. Most people that know me at all well, know I am a quilter.

Oh, she is so talented! It is so special that she painted your quilts and your kitties, both of which mean a lot to you. Each one is a work of art!
A priceless treasure painted by Lorelei's mom. She paints very well and the paintings hold lovely memories of your cats and your quilts. Yes, you are a great quilter.

What a sweet gift!
That's beautiful, but won't the cats frighten away the birds?
they are absolutely beautiful, she is a gifted painter. these gourds would sell in a heart beat in a flea market or even online... they are personal to you but others would love them just as much. to me the gourds are amazing even if they were not painted. I think the last time I saw them was back in the fifties in KY
Hello,

I love gourd art. Terry dried a couple out a decade ago, but we have never done anything with them.

That is so special. Someone has a creative mind and steady hands to do this.
I love this. How clever and creative.
Ansolutely a decorative and marvelous job. Now, I want one!
This is totally awesome, and she is a good artist! Do you USE it? I would treasure it so much that I would never actually hang it out for the birds. I would put it somewhere on a shelf or table as decoration.
Uniek!
A fine collection of art work that is impressive. Excelllent pictures.
I love it. Lorelei's mom is very talented. I did notice the quilt too. Love everything about this.

Lovely art! My wife is a quilter, too.
These are wonderful painting of your cats. What a treasure these gourds are, especially since the art is your own cats and quilt.
What beautiful, colorful creations made from these gourds!!
What a talent to create such unique and personal art.
They look so lovely, beautiful creations.
All the best Jan
Wow, these gourd birdhouses painted by your daughter are so nice, Rose. She really has a talent with painting. Such detail that goes with painting one of these. My mom used to have a very unique gourd on her dressing table with a Native American theme. Thanks for sharing these with us.
