Maybe not Swan Lake, but Swan Strip Pit at least. Roger counted over 80 of them on this pond. I wish I had had a way to record them...a few took off in flight when we first got there but the others remained and were doing this soft cooing back and forth. I call it singing. It was such a peaceful, contented sound.
If you will look closely, or you can enlarge the photo above, you will see the third one back is a mute swan. I think the others are trumpeter swans but not positive. One guy Roger talked to another day thought they were tundra swans. Whatever they are, I sure enjoy seeing them.

AH! So that's where all the swans are! I've been waiting for them to arrive at one of my favourite watering holes. :)
I can't decide which of these pictures I like best. If I had to choose one, I guess it would be the second with the swans in flight.
Looks like Swan Lake to me.... At least the Swans think it is!!!!!! Swan Lake sounds better than Swan Strip Pits--don't you think???? ha ha
