Another Barn Charm

The above is another drive-by of the photo I posted a couple posts back. I did hit the sharpen tool to make this a little clearer.
This barn is quite far off the road...this was probably the best peak we could get of it. It belonged to a farm that had a huge old brick two-story home and a rock fence across the front and one side for a ways. All around were huge old trees. When we passed on by and looked by the there was a rise in the ground that
Here we have another barn from the drive yesterday...it really needs a little TLC....I bet every time we get a real storm that more of it gets ripped off.

I am entering Tricia's Barn Charm meme...a

Wow, they are all nice. That last one sure needs love, though. What a fascinating structure.

The first one is interesting looking.
But that last one - if i had the time and it was nearly, I'd be tempted to take monthly photos just to watch the changes.

That last one is an interesting shape. It's a shame that someone hasn't kept it up. :-(

Roger must slow down quite a bit for you to jet such good shots as you drive by!

LOVE your barns this week. They all have tons of character. Yes, the third one could definitely use some TLC!

I don't remember ever seeing that 1st barn, but how in the world could I forget it? It's awesome... I really really would love to get inside & check it out.

Great find w/ the 2nd one, as well, but that last old barn has really been thru the ringer... still so cool, tho =)

When I saw the first one, I thought the same thing I thought when I saw it before: I feel like it's saying, "Where did everyone go? How could they leave me here alone?' (I've obviously been working with personification a lot in my poetry classes!)
The second one has a majestic air to it. I bet the farm house and stone walls were awesome! The barn sure is.
The last one is sad. Maybe the farmer wants a new barn and the wife is saying, "Not until this one falls down!" Therefore he's letting it fall apart. (Sorry--I'm extra imaginative this morning.)

Very good barn pictures. That last one looks it's gone through one too many storms. Nice post.

I agree that the last two barns need some TLC. I hope the last one gets some -- that rounded roof is very unusual.

Wow!!!! This last barn picture amazes me!!!! Everything about it, you are a Barn Master!! The way it is, almost looks like someone made computerized mosaics on it! This may be my favorite barn yet!

Great set of barns! The last one is such an interesting shape, and I like the green roof--or what's left of it....

Love the barn photos. The last one does really need some attention. I have learned something through the spring storms here. Insurance pays when storms take parts of the roof, of the barns too. I have had several friends that thought they had no roof damage and when the insurance adjusters came, they not only got new house roofs, but the old barns received new roofs too.

Such a same to see a beautiful unusual barn just keep going downhill.

Thanks for the blog visit. I don't seem to blog much anymore.
