We drove through the strip pits yesterday and I got a few captures of dragonflies...look at the face in each photo!
It even looks like it has a smile in the bottom one. Isn't it cute...and I think that is the first time I ever thought one was cute but I do.

It IS cute, and those eyes!! Yes, I have seen other dragonflies that look like they are smiling. I wish I could get pictures like this!!!

Ha! We were on the same wave length. I love their alien faces and it always surprises how different each one can be. Some look like they are wearing one of those old fashioned football helmets and here yours looks like it's wearing sunglasses which is a great closeup shot!
The enlarged version of the last one shows his face so very well. Excellent close up work, Rose! WOW shooting for sure!
