Barns from the past year...

It's is that time of the week again...time to enter our barns in Tricia's Barn Charm meme.
Between trying to can a little bit more tomato juice and this computer being slow to respond to anything I want it to do, I have had a time even getting to this point.
To save any more time, I resorted to some barns I had already resized but don't think I have ever posted, at least not for barn charm. Doesn't that last one look kind of inviting after all the heat we have had.

Anyway, if you want to join the meme, or see more barns from around the country go to Tricia's Bluff Area Daily blog....

That last picture does make me feel 'somewhat' cooler. But I like that first black and white photo as well.

I like the bare trees in that first black and white photo...I could use a good blast of chill air from the last one...

Very nice. The boat in the first one provides some contrast of subjects. Pretty cool. :)

i love that last one - not just for the cool snow - but for all the different buildings all clustered together! :)

I really like that second shot!

Quite an age difference between the two first images in regard to the second one. Great images.

I like that last shot, with all the red and white. There is such a selection of sizes and shapes in it too!

That last shot does look good in this heat, but when we have snow on the ground for too long, we'll want the heat back!
Love the red and white and the different sizes and the overall set up of that last one. But the first two have charm also. Like the boat in front of the first one--kind of goes with the barn. :>)

These are fine barns. I've never seen the last one before and it is quite a complex of barns and sheds.
The first, old one, i like for the excellent wood textures and the run-down look of the place. Nice post.

I'm impressed with how many there are standing together in the last photo. and I love the black and white photo of the barn and the boat sitting next to it. the second barn seems a dumping ground for old tires! great shots of these charmers Rose! I hope you get all your tomato juice canned, and manage to keep cool too!

Interesting the boat in front of the old barn in the first photo. It's in good condition and the barn not so much.

I really like the character of the second barn even though it's fall down. The third photo must be an active farm still. I always love red barns contrasted with snow.

Love them all, esp that top barn, what a beauty! The snow is very soothing after the heat we've had. It's starting to cool off here, at least for now.

Thanks so much, Rose! =) Sorry you're having problems w/ you computer!

Do NOT fret.....if there is any comfort in numbers, out wi-fi is so pitiful out here in the country I have to turn it off-count to 30-turn it back on at least 5 times a day. Does that tell you anything :-) Love the snow on the ground in the barn shot. I think I am ready for it. This has been one HOT summer here in VA. Your other photos are great, too. Take care and keep on posting....just talked to Buddy and he is alive and well way up there in Vermont. G

I like that cluster of buildings in the last shot - all huddled together for comfort against that wide open, treeless (and shadeless) space surrounding them.

You're the best when it comes to barns! And that old truck below, even though it is very old and not well, it is smiling!!

Excellent shots, Rose. I am so tired of have a slow poke computer when I need it to go zippy-d-zip.

Sorry you all have been having such sweltering weather while we out here are having cool stuff. MB

Mari...Thanks for following Buddy’s hike. He is in a bed and breakfast tonight so I, too, will sleep better. I looked at his photo again to see what looked to be like a transformer...all the gray pieces are the shoulder pieces and the ones that go around the chest and waist. His poles are on the ground beside it. Hope that helps a bit. Genie
