So pretty!
What a lovely hollyhock bloom, it almost looks like a hibiscus! And I love the shape of the unopened buds. We had hollyhocks many years ago, but i don't remember these cool buds.
This was a favorite flower of my Dad's. This brings back nice memories for me.

I, too, like Hollyhocks. So tall and stately. We had such an odd winter and Spring that mine did not reseed. Wah!!! MB

Lovely! Is this near where you live? The name struck me because we have Pigeon Creek down here and it is a very extensive system that floods whenever the river is high.
