Thorn tree....

These trees were all over the place...I bumped into one a little bit and you would not believe how sore the two places got where it poked into me.

Yikes, these are some thorns!!! I have never in my life seen any like these! Reminds me of Jesus' crown of thorns.

Those thorns look vicious! I can imagine what they would do to a person's skin. Nice shot of them evenif they are dangerous! :-)

we had one for years in the back woods. i'm not sure, but i think the thorns are a parasite plant that overtakes the host and finally causes its demise.

Ahhh that looks like a Locust tree to me. The thorns are terribly poisoness. They are the scurge of our property!
