A little imagination....

It doesn't take much to imagine this as it once must have been. It is another one of those I would love to know about its other life. I bet a lot of living was done here, and a lot of parties....and don't you wonder how many kids grew up in that house. Is anyone left alive that ever lived there.

Beautiful & Charming. It looks like a home that was once in Waverly WV, recently demolished.

I can definitely see the potential and 'what once was'... Love these old structures, especially THAT BIG... I'd so love to get inside & explore! =)

Great photo! When I see a house like this, I so wish I had the means to restore it. It would take a ton of cash but what a labor of love that would be!

it is almost painful to look at - the pit of your stomach feels the loss...

My thoughts and questions echo yours exactly. Now it looks like it would cost more to renovate it then to just tear it down, too bad.

That must have been a real beauty in its day. These old structures seem to hold a key to the past, if we just knew how to make it work....

This old place was very stylish with an interesting design. Sad to see it now.

Oh I can imagine all kinds of things about this house. I find sadness and beauty at the same time.

Wow, what a place! Yes I love pondering the 'living' that went on there too!

I can imagine what used to be but it sure is sad to look at now.

I love this old house. Funny I was wondering what spooky people lived there, and if it was haunted.
