I want to see inside....

I always love it when I can snap a shot that gives a glimpse inside some of the barns.  It is too bad this is from the side...it looks interesting...

I came across the set of photos that these came from while strolling through the archives. I could not resist posting them again. They were taken with a little Canon SX700.  I use it 99% of the time now....it is always in my purse so I have it with me all the time.

I cannot choose just one of this guy/gal.  Do you see 'teeth?'  I do when I look at this top one straight on. 

I am so pleased with these photos from the little camera.

The one above is not cropped at all.

Look at the markings on its legs...you would almost think they were painted.

Turkey Vulture...

We see these birds almost everywhere we go.  They come over the house so low part of the time I feel like I can almost look them in the eye. 

Drive-by shootings...

How I would love to have time and place to stop and take photos of this old beauty.  I don't even know if it is still standing...

I have photographed it a couple or three times as we passed, but have never gotten great photos.

Another drive by...the other two are fuzzy...

I may have posted a similar photo in the past few months...I am not sure.

At least I hope we get to enjoy some color this year....the photo above was from October of 2012.  From what few photos I looked at from that month, it was a wonderful season of color.  I am hoping we have one again this year...one that comes on slow and lasts a long time.

Skies so pretty it almost hurts....

The sky was wonderful to watch all day, but these are all from the late afternoon, evening.

All except the top photo are from the strip pit area.

Every direction was a different sort of view....I even took some short videos to show it, but they were handheld and not very steady.

Yes, there was even a rainbow of sorts...and no, it had not rained.  It was there a long time...

I zoomed in a bit for this one...

I just had to take another photo of these clouds...the same ones as the second picture, I had just moved on farther east.

A church from Illinois...

This church is in Illinois, but not sure which town.

These flowers were outside the Pizza Hut in Crawfordsville.

I could not choose between the two pics, so posting both.

It's a line-up

Notice they have all faced forward...I have not always watched but for a while, every time you see birds gathered close together on the power lines, they always seem to face the same direction.

Barns from the archives...

I am resorting to barns from the archives again...I don't remember where we were when I took these...but we were coming home from somewhere. 

I think this is a drive by....that looks like the windshield at the bottom of the photo.

Another snag while driving by...straight on shots turn out better than shooting out the side window..

This one is NOT a drive-by.  I have two or three  where I have zoomed in.

Notice the chains up in the peak?

This is a drive by for sure...you can see a reflection from the window.

Pandorus Sphinx Moth..not Lime-Hawk Moth

Our daughter sent these to me earlier today...from where she works.  I thought it was a Lime-hawk moth but now not sure at all.  I forgot to ask her what she had found.

I think it is gorgeous...

There are some woods not far from where she works, it is on the edge of Terre Haute.  Anyway, she has visitors quite often of this sort.  You can see a couple of other moths Here and Here...
