This door is located in Bridgeton, Indiana(<is a link to some posts with more pics from Bridgeton)...a very small place.  They do not even have a gas station.

Bridgeton does have a roller mill and is one of the main centers of activity for the Covered Bridge Festival every year in October

A beautiful old house...

This is located in Bridgeton, Indiana.  I may have posted it long ago, but ran across it recently and the place just really appeals to me.

Any time I run across this photo and another one or two with almost this exact view, I love it all over again.  It was one of those times when everything just seemed so clear, and where everything seemed just a tad bit eerie because of the lighting.  You know, that lighting that comes with a storm that is sort of a yellowness....it always makes me wonder what is going to happen next.

We were at Bridgeton Sunday evening...I had Roger pause long enough for me to snap a couple pics of this front porch.

Looking up the Big Raccoon....

This was taken Saturday evening...looking up the Big Raccoon Creek. We were passing through Bridgeton, Indiana. It had rained in the morning, then it started to clear up. Just before we got here, it had rained a few drops...then the clouds cleared up and was full of fluffy clouds...

This picture is above the dam; when our girls were young that was a big sand bar on the left. We spent lots of afternoons fishing here and letting the girls play. Roger and I always waded and fished, and the girls played and sometimes fished.

Bridgeton Mill

Read about the mill HERE...it is quite interesting I think. Their claim to fame is that they have been open every year for 180 years....
