I am seldom out to get sunset photos now, so I enjoy seeing some of my old photos.  I hope you do, too.

Blue sky day!

Taken a few years ago....I could sure use a day like this.  Always love it when the clouds feel like they are just suspended there, floating in a world all their own.

from March of 2009.  It is something I never thought I would witness, and I have never seen it since.

I thought I would post a few barns from 2011...the above and below are actually two different photos.  Notice where the horses are.

from before Roger's stroke...a repost

We were headed to Arthur, Illinois, on a highway.  Lucky for me there were no other cars around and Roger was able to stop.  The following photos were the result.

Other than being cropped and reducing the size, this is straight out of the camera...the one below I have used the HDR effect and the boost.

When I use the effects, I always go easy in using them.

Again the top is straight out of the camera...it has not been cropped or anything.

I only used the HDR effect on the second one.  Might as well add this one...its head is cocked just a little different.

I hope you don't mind a repeat...there is just something about birds of prey that I love to see.

This is a real zoomed in shot...from quite a distance.  It was a cold, cold day in January of 2018.

From 60 mph

This is a cropped portion of the photo below....it was taken on our way to Paris last year.  I just hold my camera up and sometimes sort of look, which I know I must have with this, but sometimes I just hold it up and snap.  (It is a P & S)

As you can see the other cars were not that close...I do not do this if there is traffic around me,  not even if it is behind me.  Not out on highways like this.  I don't think it is a terrible shot for the circumstances.

A gathering....

I always love to watch them...and wonder why they gather like this in the fall.  Is it safety in numbers?

And why do they pick a spot in the road and gather there, then fly away in just a few minutes...

An old building ....I have no idea what it was.  And wonder when it was last used for anything.

Through raindrops on windshield....

I am not sure why I am posting this...I guess the talent it took to do this is amazing to me, but all the talent in the world does not make me like it.  It is outside a Bar & Grill in a nearby town.  I have tried to photograph it for a while, but since I am the one driving, I don't really get much chance.

Turkeys again

I have fiddled and fiddled with these pics...they were all taken looking with the sun just to the right...I could only see my screen every now and then.

There were four in this group, but I could not capture all of them in one shot.

I think they are from the group I photographed before.

A landing pad of a different sort.  But dragonflies do remind me of helicopters!  This one was taken this past summer in July. 

One barn, many views...

Thought I would share this barn again...it is in nearby Parke County.

The photo above photo is my most often pinned barn photo, or it was if things haven't changed.

I run across it every now and then, but I could not go to it if I wanted to.  When we get out and ramble, we really don't have a destination in mind...we just turn here and there and know that we will eventually figure out where we are.  If not, we can always use GPS....so far, I think we have only had to resort to it one time.
