Weathered barn

We used to pass this little barn fairly often, on our way to the kids' house before they moved.  This is a drive-by from several years ago. I always wanted a good pic but a drive-by was the only option.  It was beside a two lane road with no room pull off the road.

 This is a drive-by shot...from the days Roger could still drive.  It is not near this red...that is just the light from the evening sun.

 This is just a drive-by farm scene over in Illinois.  It is zoomed in and also cropped a little bit.

From 2009

 Someone must have had access to a lot of pumpkins, etc.  I just loved this porch...if it were mine, I would use it a lot.  Our weather has turned cooler, and the breeze makes it too chilly to sit on ours now.  Though I am tempted to get a blanket and sit out there anyway.

 I don't think I have ever published this photo...it is a drive-by.  Back when Roger was doing the driving.  I still had to straighten it a lot.

 I seldom see barns this color.  I think it is a pleasant color but I prefer red.

Something fun...

 A drive-by...maybe I should say a Slow down real slow drive-by.  I got this near the end of February.  Believe it or not it is the best so far.  I have been trying to get one for about 7 or 8 months.  I know it is coming, by the surrounding area...a brown barn sits across the way from it.  But from the road, you come around a small curve...not a bad one...but still you come around and right there they are and then they are gone.  But I smile every time I see them.  There is a sign that sits in front that says 'Minion Manor.'

Drive-by sunset...

 Coming home Saturday evening late there was a spectacular sunset.  Since I do the driving and can only 'sort of' aim and shoot, this was the only one half decent.  How I wish you could have seen more.  T

 We see this barn every time we go to Arthur...there is no place to pull off to take a photo.  And the road is kind of curvy...this is from when Roger could drive.  I like it because it includes the farmer and gives an idea of how big it is.

 These are drive-by shots...but back when my husband was the driver.  The barn from yesterday was a drive-by from that same day.

A quick snap

This was just one single shot of these grain bins...several things I have shown I have chosen the best of attempts but this is the one and only shot of these.  It could have been better, but lucky to get it.  And for some reason I like it...even with the top cut off...so no need to point out the shortcomings.  I know they are there.  It is a drive by...I don't have time to do anything but sort of aim and shoot.   

Little Barn

 This little barn/shed is seen on the way to our daughters...well, actually we see it on the way home.  I am not sure I even notice it on the way.  

A moment of beauty

A lot of trees are bare now, and not sure there is any left that are fully clothed like this.  Still, we have some beauty left.  Fall never lasts long enough for me. This was taken a couple weeks ago.
