First one for me this year

I stopped to take a photo of the above flower, and while down on my knees, the little butterfly appeared and let me snap a photo of it.
If only they would all be so willing to pose for me! I hope it is the first of many butterfly photos for me, but I don't usually get very many.

Sunsets--I have hundreds of them

I cannot help but shoot sunsets...and the thing about that is you can get a dozen good shots all in one shoot. Each one different than the one before. This is one from March....

Maybe not a motorway....

Running into my shots looking down the road almost always brings to mind the lines:

I am a one way motorway
I'm the one that drives away
Then follows you back home

They are from the song Times Like These by Foo Fighters. I just love that 'the one that drives away and follows you back home' part....think I have written this on my other blog some other time, but it the the lines run through my mind so many times, why not share them again.

Otherwise, do you think we are done with snow for the season? I am thinking we are!
