Photo overload....

It is time for Barn Charm again...a big thanks to Tricia.  I don't always thank her, but I do appreciate her hosting it.

I took the photos of this barn yesterday...so thought I best show it while it is still in season!
I almost used the above as a stand alone shot...
but then I know how I love seeing different shots of the same barn so thought I would include these.
I actually have pics of this barn taken in a different season, you can see it HERE. Not much has changed.
I do see that the electrical cord that was leading to the ladder is missing...but the ladder is still there.  Also notice the door up top...and look at it in the other post...the other photos were taken in the spring of 2011...well, they were posted in the spring of 2011.  I am assuming I had taken them close to the time I posted them.  Anyway, hope you enjoy.

I love that red barn. It's very stunning against the wintry background.

I like seeing different shots of the same barn - it's amazing how different each view is. This one is great - red and snow - very nice!

I'm glad you included the other views of the barn. My favorite is the second one. I really like the closeup.

Oh yes, I certainly did enjoy this post. I have a special fondness for red barns. I suspect that it was cheaper to paint a barn white, but that deep true barn-red paint is so beautiful. The redder reds just aren't the same.

These are beautiful! And I do think my favorite is the first one..it is rather like Andrew Wyeth.

Nothing quite as striking as a red barn amist white snow.

The first shot is definitely worthy of being a stand alone shot. It's gorgeous! However, I'm glad you included the other views and the link back to the barn in spring. It's a great old barn with a of character!

It is a lovely barn and I muse suppose that it is slowly falling apart. So sad but it has it's beauty.
Your remark about flying---I feel the same way.LOL sometimes I am soaring above all. It is a cool feeling. MB

It is amazing how that upper barn door can just dangle like that. The red against he snow and grey background trees is really stunning. It is a barn that should be photographed in all seasons. I'd love to know how old it is. :) What kind of foundation does it have? Stone?

Quite fascinating to see the details, although it's your fist shot which has a real "wow" factor.
