you can definitely tell that's a pheasant in all his plumage finery! very cool!
It is still a good shot. Pheasants are so big and impressive!
Hard to catch a bird in flight when they are going so fast, but your editing did improve the photo. There's always another day when that perfect moment will come and the stars will all align and you'll get the perfect shot.
we can see how beautiful he is, what a wonderful thing to happen
