Pretty flowers even if you didn't get down too low. I can't either but I wish I still could do a lot of things I used to do.

I've not heard of a trout lily tho. That's a new one.

both such beauties. we had the dutchman's breeches in wisconsin and a similar bloom to the trout lily which i think we called cowslip.
(i just googled cowslip. wow, we were so wrong in what we were labeling. we probably had trout lilies.) :)
they are all really beautiful, i love that middle one a little more than the other two... no knees or belly for me, i have to stoop and that is not very far now..
Yes, it IS a bleeding heart! They come in white, and I have several pictures of them. I have only found them once. The breeches are totally cool, wish I could find some!

Rose, these are lovely! I often forget and get down at the grocery store to pick up something off a low shelf and then can't get up!!!

I have a white one in my garden.
Pretty Yellow flower as well. I love wild flowers but in our mountains it's Illegal to pick some of them.
