A gift from the archives

Had to go back to 2011 to find a photo from Jan 27....I was looking at all the ending dates of January to find a photo that was presentable and one that I had not posted before.

I live near the St. Joseph River. Everyday we travel down the connecting highway near our house which takes us over a bridge over the river. Right near that bridge every single day there are three swans always in just about the same spot. Must be their territory. I don't know why I was surprised to see them duck there head under water just like the Mallards do. Silly me.
