Others are ahead around the bend....
Yep, I love roads and consider them treasures beyond measure.

Ahh, that post spoke to me, Rose. My father used to say, even when I was a little girl, that there was some gypsy in me. He didn't think it was a good thing! But I think he could have been right. An empty road ahead always beckons. The road less travelled is always the road for me! Every single one of your roads would entice me.

Exceptional photos of the roads. That last one is my favorite of these.
You made this unusual subject very interesting, I find group of pictures to support your view. Open roads make me want to head down them.

I especially like the country roads. We used to travel on some until we didn't know where we were. As long as I am in south Texas I will eventually come to a road or town I am familiar with.
