Week before last was Lorelei's spring break....since I had a spring break of a different kind, she went to stay with her aunt in St. Louis.  They went to an orchid show, and this is one of the photographs Lorelei took.  Not bad for a 9 yr. old.
I am only using my chromebook right now...so have not did anything at all to the photo.  It was taken with her phone.
************
I still can put no weight on my foot.  The wound from the fracture blister is not pretty to look at.  The doctor fears if I wore a walking boot that it would make the wound worse.  My sanity is hanging on by a thread.

I am so very sorry!!! How is the pain? Lorelei seems to be taking after her grandmother with her talent for photography.

I hope that you're soon feeling better. Having a nine-year-old emissary from the outside world must be an aid to maintaining your sanity. That's an excellent photograph, Lorelei.

I hope you heal rapidly---- Somehow the juxtaposition of the vulture to your words... well, let's just say, I hope you feel better soon. And yes, it is a fine picture of that beautiful orchid.

Hang in there Rose. These are the times that try our souls. Least we persevere, we perish. I know you can persevere. Carol

Lorelei did an excellent job of taking that picture. I know you must be anxious to get on with life, but in the end, the wait will be worth it.,

Lovely picture. Pretty cool that a 9 year old would have interest in taking a pic of a flower. Can you use one of those scooters to get around...like the one I used with my foot surgery? It was a blessing to have it. I have kept your injury and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
xx, Carol
