One robin from my yard...

Almost any time I step outside, I either see and/or hear robins.  I finally got a minute to sit outside this evening and snapped a few of this one.

We raised a baby robin one summer, and I always think of him.  You can read about Cheep-cheep here.

I actually saw this one catch a worm but had put my camera down.

The Robin is such a special bird, and they never fly away like the other birds. They are brave ones and don't scare easily. I love them. These are great photos, Rose.

No matter how common the Robin is, it is always a beautiful bird. I keep hearing them in the trees, but have not seen one yet this spring.

Beautiful shots of the robins. I loved the Cheep Cheep story. I have only seen 3 robins this year here in OK. One in January, one down the road in Feb, and then another a couple of weeks ago in our yard. I kind of miss seeing them all over the place. And miss hearing them too.

Those are really good pictures. I hear all the birds getting louder every day but the weather still seems too cold for them. I haven't seen a robin yet.

Lovely shots of this pretty robin. I have not seen any yet but when they come it's a sure sign that Spring will be here soon.

He is a fine looking robin, and your shots are beautiful and descriptive.

The neighbor's cats are keeping some of the birds away from our backyard, but that's OK--- I like the cats as well. We have Robins, Oregon Juncos, Chickadees, Swallows... And the occasional Jay.

You got some good ones of the robin. I always enjoy seeing them for the first time each year.

You know, it is a rare occasion when I see a robin...almost never in my yard because of the hard, red clay...no worms living down there! When I do get a glimpse of one somewhere else, I always try to get a good photo since I don't really have any...lots of other birds but no robins! Your photos are awesome!

I always thought the early settlers must have been particularly bad ornithologists as they look nothing like our Robins. However if they are so confident around people then that is very like our Robins. A nice series of photos.

The robin pictures are excellent.
I really need to get a camera to replace my one that died. My cell phone camera is ok but I miss taking closeups of the birds.
We have SO MANY Robins around here too. They are all over the place.

Oh those silly Robins. We saw our first one up here in Northern Indiana about 2 weeks ago. It makes me wonder if it was the same one that nested in our front Maple last year because she is making a nest in the same spot that a Hawk tried to steal her from. What do you think?
