there's a road......

There's a road--oh, it beckons and beckons.....

I took a little liberty with a line The Spell of the Yukon by Robert W. Service.

It's beckoning me for sure. I need a road trip. I wish I could hop in the car and follow that road right to you

Oh it beckons me too. These are the kind of roads that I love to travel down.

the line from the book made me think of my mother and her sister. any road, going anywhere, not matter what kind for where it was going, beckoned them to ride on it. they both would beg someone to take them for a ride, a long ride. 3 days before my aunt died, on a Saturday morning, i got up and it popped in my head, call Pat and see if she wants to go for a ride. i rode her up and down and all around for 2 hours, on roads like this one, but swamp not autumn trees. Monday she went in the hospital for no reason they could find and Tuesday night she was gone. the doctor said he had no idea why. she was 63.. I believe God sent me to take her for the last ride

I agree that it wants someone to come down it. It’s a very pleasant autumn scene. Very successful picture

Yes, this road does beckon one to travel and see what is around the next curve. Lovely fall colors starting to show, and the leaves are falling.

What a gorgeous view. Who would not want to take a ride down there, but a nice leisurely stroll would be even better.

Now that is just the kind of road that I would have to explore. It looks amazing.
