In flight....

There were four of them,

When I first saw them, one took off to parts un-known and three headed over the road I was on, but on down the way.

Just as I got down there, the adult with the white tail feathers and white head took off and went south.

All I had was my little point and shoot that does not have a view finder...so very lucky to get these.

You did well with the point and shoot. I always hate trying to take pictures with the screen. It's so hard to see outside.

A fine capture of these birds in fligfht. For not seeing in a viewfinger, you did a marvelous job of shooting.

Although bald eagles were successfully reintroduced on some of our barrier islands years ago, I have not heard if they still nest there after Katrina.

I think I just erased my comment. My laptop needs a tuneup or replacing. I rarely see bald eagles here. Good work with the point and shoot.

I love seeing them in flight! And, such a beautiful blue sky, too!

So graceful when they are up there soaring on the wind.
