Each view is great for different things! So I really like them both, you are right it would be hard to choose. I wonder whatever happened to it?
Poor old house... He did his best for a long time.
It does look like it's need of some TLC. I do hope it was fixed up. I hate seeing old houses like this let go.

i like both views, glad you posted both. i like the detail up close on the 2nd one but in the first one it has spooky look and i can see the mailbox and the boat with motor and car and maybe part of a barn or shed.. awesome find. I have a few things I wish I had marked some way... with digital it is hard to write on the back ha ha,,, i do have my first things in folders with the name of parks or museums
Reminded me of the house from Bridges of Madison County without the covered porch. Great choice to process in B&W.
It has seen better days. It may be too late for an upgrade.

Those walls would have endless stories to tell.
The top view is my preference. It is a beautiful building.
It still looks to be in fair condition and just needs a little TLC and some work on it. A great black and white image. I hope that it is still there.
