It was beautiful and very well built. I can't imagine why someone would tear it down. That is very sad.
Structural damage too great to deal with, I suppose. Too bad.

The walls look beautiful!! And it vanished leaving no trace ! That's strange :)))
Now that's really sad. It looks like it is in great shape and to me it looks like its made of bricks...Very unusual.

I wonder if there are people still living who grew up loving that barn and their experiences there. There are some old structures in rural as well as town areas that I love seeing on our occasional day trips.
Shame.
That looked such a nice barn too ...
