What a beautiful little character. I'm glad I don't have to eat my dinner hanging on to the edge of the table like that!
What an awesome shot this is. We used to keep the feeders full because Wade liked to watch the birds. I found it was just too much work to keep up with them so I don't fill them any more.

Oh how sweet this close up is.
I also live where bears are frequent visitors, thus we aren't allowed to put up bird feeders. So I'm always happy to see other's photos of the birds. That reminds me, I can at least have a hummingbird feeder, and it's close to when they return from central America.

I wonder why he is called that? He doesn't have any red on his belly at all. Lovely photo, Rose. I see the Woodpeckers all the time around here, but they are red-headed Woodpeckers. And they peck and peck at the trees and even under the eaves of the house. They can be an annoyance sometimes, but they sure are pretty.

I miss feeding the birds too.
When we did feed, the seed drew too many critters rats and mice and the hummingbird feeder drew the yellow jacket bees. We just had to stop.
Miss their antics but they still wander around our back yard to I do see them but just not up close.

This is fabulous! A nice crisp image with beautiful color. I love the background. I am a big bird watcher but mostly just in my back yard and also when I go to Florida to visit. I love watching them. The feeding has gotten quite expensive over the years. Wild birdseed has really gone up in price.
Yes, they are fun to watch. I still feed the birds some, but I am not as diligent as I used to be,.
