Even though I enlarged it, I just cannot figure out what it is!!! How strange!!!
Is that fungus? Hmmmm....interesting.

What is it? I haven't a clue.
I had something similar to that growing in two places on top of mulch. Someone told me that it is called Slime mold. It is harmless. I ended up spraying it away with a hose. Apparently there is a large variety of this mold.
Fungus can look so alien! Fungus or meringue cookies...
It is interesting, weird looking fungi.

google search says Texas mushrooms. it is a fungus for sure, found lots of info about mystery fungus..
