I miss these little guys...


 I just love the Dickcissels...they are such a cheerful bird.

Dickcissel. for the life of me, I could not identify it! Looks like a cross between a goldfinch and a Meadowlark! I have never seen a real one.

I believe they mention this bird on an episode of Little House when they were traveling to find a new home area. They are such pretty birds, aren't they? They look similar to the yellow finches.
