I love to find mushrooms and lichen, and just all that type of stuff. I even know where this was taken and that was several years ago.
I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year, and to say that if I go MIA for a while, nothing new is wrong. I just need a break from things. And it is hard for me to keep blogging, when it is all from old photos. Not that I don't like them. I just wish I could get out to get something new.

I love how it is so scalloped. I hope you have a wonderful new year, Rose!!
Splendid clarity with eye-catching shapes! Happy New Year! Here's to good health and happiness in 2025.
Rose--- As much as I regret not getting around like we used to, I take great satisfaction in finding new ways to highlight previous shots. Editing is like the darkroom for me, and the results can be like finding gifts under a Christmas tree. Do not apologize for using older pictures! After all, they are new to us! Happy New Year, Rose!
I love finding the mushrooms and fungi.
Happy New Year, I wish you and yours all the best in 2025!
Happy New Year to you as well. Love this photo. Mushrooms are always so interesting to look at.
Totally understand the need for a break. Hope you won't be gone too long because I'll miss you.
In some ways I feel the same. But my hubby gave me a new camera for Christmas which I am hoping will inspire me to get out again. Have a blessed 2025
I find it so amazing seeing all the different fungi. Great photo.
