What is it?

I am not sure what this is...it was about 6-8 inches tall, and there was lots of it near the swamp area.  I feel like I know but for the life of me I cannot think what it is.

And this was among some of those plants....

Street scene...not your average

We had to go around this guy the other morning...or one of his comrads....

I almost forgot about them, and accidentally turned down the wrong street...then I thought, 'YES!  I can take the side street over and see if they are still there.

None of these photos show it...

there were nine of them.  Some of them was walking up past the house on the other side of the house.

They were eating a dead squirrel...it was out in the road when I had to go around the first turkey vulture...but they had pulled it up on the grass....and the one is eating while the other looks on.
