Barn Charm time again

Today I am featuring a barn that leans....

and that needs a lot of TLC.
The barn really was leaning, however I am not sure if maybe a little bit of this was not me having the camera tilted.
But when I look at this hill, I think it is the barn because this hill looks like I remember it.
Again, I am not sure where this is at...and it was taken just a few weeks ago. I know it was north of here but that is about all I know. I really need to get one of those 'geo=tagger' things for my cameras.

Anyway, join me for Tricia's Barn Charm meme...

That is a fine looking barn! It does appear to be leaning far too much or safety's sake. I have no idea what kind of bracing could be done inside in an attempt to save it. It's a huge, beautiful old barn. It deserve more than to fall down!

It does appear to be leaning a bit, but maybe the ground is making it look like it is. We took a drive yesterday and I took photos of a few neat looking barns.

I've always loved the barns with the covered shelter in the back - kind of a carport for cattle or horses. :)

What stories that barn could tell. Cool images. :)

It may lean but it may be because of all that charm it's carrying around!

Leaning...maybe like an old man, bent over from the burden of time.

This is really a beauty! It looks like gravity may be taking its toll on it. Nice set of photos!

It must be hard to stand upright on a hill!

A most curious wear pattern on the roof. I am trying to figure out if the cupola was a later addition and the roof was not cared for properly around it? Even the topper on the cupola looks to be different on each side. This barn has many many secrets.
Your observation that the hill looks right made me smile.

I was commenting elsewhere that I had just seen the best barns and cupolas to photograph but did not have a camera along. I hope I can recall where I saw them.

Ok, what do you mean a geo-tagger for your camera? I've never heard of that before! I'll have to google it!
Beautiful old barn & I love the red! It's huge... but it does look to be leaning a bit... may not make it much longer & that's a shame, too, because it could still be saved!!! =)

Thanks, Rose! =)

'Tis a nice old barn. I like all the different cupola's ore caps on all the different barns. I think I will make that a project.---Like I need another one. MB

I think because it's on the hill it looks like it's tilted. When I am looking at it my head is also tilting hehehehe trying to figure out if it's really tilting hehe ^_^

Lean on me! No, that would be a little too much. It's not badly atilt, though...and I don't think it's going anywhere...in fact, I'll bet it's been like this for years.

Probably not used for much besides storage these days.

Having said all that I still wouldn't park my new Mercedes inside of it (if I have a new Mercedes!)...

This barn is a popular style in our area. And most of them are not in any better shape either.

I love old barns and it saddens me to see them allowed to go into such disrepair. But, I also understand that if it were me having to maintain a barn I would run out of money before the work could be done.

Thanks for the visit to my blogs and the lovely comments. I have enjoyed poking around in your archives. You have some wonderful photos. And, I agree Granny's place is perfect just as it is.
