Whether there are two or not, this picture is very effective. I like how the turtle is posed.g
Usually I see two or more all crowded on a log or rock, and even on top of each other. It does seem odd to just see one.
Hopefully there are more around.

Oh, there's another one somewhere near. We often see turtles on a log taking a sunbath in the bay at the end of our road. Sometimes from their sizes they look like a family.
