The road and the sky go on forever. Makes one feel very small.
Pictures rarely do "justice" to their subjects, but these are beautiful in their own right. Our little point-and-shoot can't capture the beauty of most scenes, but the pictures are worth taking and sharing anyway.

These are fabulous. I was thinking the same thing as Ginny about that first shot. Love it.
I know from my attempts to photograph the similarly flat landscapes of the fens just how difficult it is to do it justice, but you've certainly conveyed some of the feel here.

sometimes while reading a book, it will say it was a lowering sky. that is exactly what this looks like, the sky is lowering to the land.. and glowering also

What a beautiful sky with those layers of clouds! The clouds have nice dimension as well, adding a bit of 3D to the image.
