Swans are beautiful creatures to look at, so majestic.
Swans are cranky. Beautiful, but cranky.
If they were a little less common I'm sure we'd appreciate them more. They are huge and beautiful birds.
I can almost hear that swan saying "get out of here you bratty kid, go play in someone elses yard"...lol

The swan was ready to take him on. Nice shooting.
Sadly the video would not play for me. I tried several times and kept getting a error. Lovely swan images.
Beautiful images of the swan. The big guy was not allowing any nonsense from the muskrat.
Great pictures of the swans. That muskrat had better watch, or he will get nipped.
the snag in the top shot nicely balances the swan. the lower shot is a good document of behavior, but not an attractive photo on its own
The first image is beautiful with the swan and the lovely reflection. The second made me smile!
We have had a Mallard couple visit the pond off and on. I think they are making it their home since it is snowing and they are floating with their heads under their wings. I usually chase them off but since they keep returning I don't have the heart. So I guess I'll have to do my best to protect them from Harley. Perhaps they are looking for a good place to Shelter In Place.
