It has seen its better days. Not much left by now.
It really is a delightful little place. I am sure someone was once so proud of this cozy little house.
Oh! Poor baby! I love the picture of it nestled in the trees.
The old barn looks beyond repair and would have collapsed. Have a blessed weekend.
He's seen better days... But he has a lot of tales to tell if we could just listen.
By the way that roof looks I wouldn't say it's chances were very good. I like the photo though.
It certainly needs a bit of work doing on it!
Now this is an example of how something worn out and tattered can look extra beautiful! I love this one Rose! Now I wonder, is it still there..

Looks like it is barely holding on in this picture.
It was someone's little cozy home but they are long gone. Nice B&W.
Love this old shack, and it is perfect in black and white.
When I was a kid living in Chicago we would take Rte 66 south to visit my grandparents. Your recent explanation of strip pits reminded me that along the flat farm fields we used to pass these mounds of "dirt" next to small "lakes." I couldn't remember where - I was thinking somewhere near Pontiac. So I looked at a map, and there is Coal City right where we would pass. So thanks for the memory jog. Clinton looks quite a bit further south, but perhaps the geology is similar.
After 11 years probably not. Neat picture though.
My mother used to love to paint pictures of places like that :)
It is amazing to think that it was someone's house at one time. It would be interesting to see what is left of it.
That sure would be cute if anyone could fix it up. That would be about the right size for me.
