Still waiting...


They are still green...Roger is wanting me to pick one or two for fried green tomatoes.  And it is tempting.

They do look like they are gradually ripening. I would be patient because I love ripe tomatoes.

The waiting is the hardest part. I have never had fried green tomatoes.

Wow! You are so much further ahead than me! I still am waiting on the blooms to transform. I may need to pollinate them myself. You're going to have quite a harvest.

I have never warmed up to fried tomatoes, perhaps because I never had them as a child. But I LOVE fresh juicy home grown and vine ripened slices.

Those are going to be delicious when they're ripe. I've never tried fried green tomatoes, sounds tasty.
