Making tracks

Though I know there are lots of coyotes around, I seldom see one.  I bet I could count on my fingers the number I have seen.

We’re more apt to hear coyotes than to see them.

We've got a lot of them around here--- We often hear them, but I've only seen one in the 30 years we've lived in this house. What's funny is they're roaming the streets of San Francisco now. I worked in the city for years and was raised nearby-- I can't remember ever hearing about them in those days. I love this picture by the way-- A perfect capture.

I've never seen a coyote. I've seen a fox or two but never a coyote.

Hello,

Great capture of the Coyote! I have been hearing about local sightings here too.
Take care, enjoy your day!

we have only seen one in our neighborhood, that was a couple of years ago.. they are fascianting to me, but not on the streets. I feel sad for them because their enviroment has shrunk so small they have to come in to town to find food

Great capture. I see them around here once in a great while but hear them at night more often.

I won't be able to tell the difference between a coyote and a dog.

Great spotting of this one! We had one that ran down our driveway last summer and I thought it was a dog at first.

I have one that occasionally comes to my yard but I haven't seen him lately. He usually comes at the edge of dark. 💖

That's a cool picture, Rose. Haven't seen any coyotes yet in the mountains, but there is a dog that comes around that looks just like a wolf. My neighbor told me it was a dog, and he's not the friendliest dog, so I'll be aware of my surroundings.

Neat shot of the coyote. We have a large empty lot next to our house that is loaded with those critters. Our Poodle lets us know when they are close.

How strange that you posted a coyote today. We have unusually cold weather now, low 20's, and this morning a cold hungry coyote was right behind our yard sniffing around under the bird feeders. Usually if we see them it is dark so to be that near the house mid-morning told me he was very cold and hungry. I couldn't get to my camera in time.

I see only a few per year but more than I see wolves.

This is a great action shot! Wonderful timing! I have actually only seen a coyote twice. Once on the side of the road in Nevada and once in the Yellowstone.
