Robin

Is it me, or is its breast redder than normal?  This is the color it was...I thought it seemed a deeper color than normal.  Also, if it is, I wonder if it has to do with it being this early in spring.

It is so much more a deeper and more intense color! Maybe because of spring and breeding season? I will keep an eye on the ones here.

I've never seen one with that dark red. Interesting!

Beautiful robin. I don't think I have seen one here. Enjoy your weekend.

I dunno--- one of our most common birds and the breast doesn't seem unusual to me.

We don't have Robins in the south end of Florida so I have no clue. He is cute though.

I just saw a robin the other day but didn't pay much attention. The color looks right to me but now I'll have to check the next one I see more closely

Beautiful! I don't know why, but yes, it seems a bit darker red. In fact, it looks like a beautiful hair color that is a favorite with humans. ;)

Don't the males have a deeper red than the females? What a great picture.

Beautiful Robin! We woke up to a light covering of snow this morning so I hope they stay away for a while longer.❤️

Yes, it seems to be a deeper red than usual. I thought some robins that passed through our yard a few weeks ago were a bit redder than normal. But, they weren't this red.

Beautiful shot. I am no expert, but it seems to me that the males have the deeper red breast.

No robins here yet. Soon, I am sure.
A very nice shot.

This robin looks beautiful! He does seem to look more red. I don't see as many robins as I used to. A gorgeous image!

I like this photograph.
I'm not 100% sure but I think male robins are a deeper red in colour.

All the best Jan

Oh, my beloved Robin. They are the neatest bird. I used to see them all the time where I used to live. Yes, sometimes their bellies were a dark orange and sometimes when I took the pictures, they were a bright orange. I'll send you a couple through e-mail. This bird fascinates me. : )
