Sunset on the prairie

I never know where I am going to be or what I am going to be doing, but thought since I am here I would post this for Skywatch Friday... I used to have more time and had so much fun participating. It is a great place to meet other bloggers, and to see some beautiful skies. So, just click on the link provided or the badge below to join the fun.

I like the crisp outlines of the silhouetted buildings with the sun still peeking around the side. The strong shapes on the horizon make the shot very effective.
Very nice work, Rose.

Gosh, that's a lovely, warm sunset. I wish we'd see them that nice here but there are too many trees and buildings blocking our view.

By the way, you have been tagged. The info is on my blog if you'd like to play along. =)

That's an incredible, clear sunset. Truly beautiful. I wonder if that antenna on the roof still picks up any TV stations, since the digital switchover we can't get anything any more.

Like all good photos, this raises more questions than it answers...not only is the sunset beautiful, but one must wonder about the farm...the buildings and the people who live there...

I agree with you that it's fun participating in SF, but I have been lazy/busy lately. Before I saw the title of your picture I thought on the Little House on the Prairie. How nice! :)
