From somewhere on the road....

These were taken 2 or 3 years ago...they are all drive-by shots.
I love the cupolas of the first and last barn...and I love the weathered boards of the one above.
This last one is so interesting to me...I would love to be able to see the interior. I cannot help but wonder about the placement of the doors and windows.

I thought I would enter these for Tricia's Barn Charm meme...hope to see you there.

I like all the different shades of red paint and the vertical and horizontal boards on the third one!

Maybe they're starting to fix it up. Great barns...I have so many barn photos, I really need to start posting them more often. I like how you posted three here.

The cupola's, the roof, the walls and the windows are beautiful. Each barn has it's unique charm. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Rose,

Thanks for stopping by. Love all your barn shots. I am all too familar with drive by shots. Sometimes you just don't have time to stop at each one of them.

They are all cheerful, in spite of their age(s)! These are great photos, especially for "drive-by" ones.

I very much like red on barns as they show up so well any time of year. :)

All of those are nice shots! I noticed that the last one has lightening rods on it.

Fantabulous finds, Rose! You're right, that's a nice cupola on the 1st barn & I love the weathered boards on the 2nd one & also how it's built up... I wonder if they purposely made the hill to build the barn on or if the hill was there already!
The 1st & 3rd barns are very similar, too!

Thank you very very much, Rose!!! =)

We're all still so excited about the surprise visit w/ Jilly... it literally came out of the blue! =)

So very midwestern...makes me nostalgic...these are places where I spent a good amount of time as a kid growing up in Minnesota!

3 red beauties. Nice drive bys. I never realized how many barns were along the road until Tricia's Barn Charm gave me a mission :)

These are all great, Rose. I wish my drive-by photos were as nice and in focus as yours. =)

These are great! You get such nice drive by shots. I never get focused fast enough for some and Mike drives too fast when we drive by :-) I always end up with a pole right in the middle of my shot.
