Red barn in spring....

EDITED To Add this little request: would you please check to see if you have the embedded comment on your blog...I have real problems with that and cannot comment without allowing 3rd party cookies and due to some problems I do not like to turn them on. Besides, I have been seeing a lot of people having trouble with them the past few days and it is not even related to the cookie thing.

To do this:

Go to your dashboard
Click Settings
Click on Comments

and preferably Click the Pop-up one...

it is so convenient when I have not been able to blog. and there are a lot of posts I have missed. But even if you want the full page one, I can still comment with no problems. I for one would really appreciate this...and know a lot of people feel the same way.

I took these photos a few weeks ago when things were really beginning to get green...
the days when we were still remembering the cold days of winter. One of these days when we were still thrilled to see all the green coming on....

I plan to link to Tricia's Bluff Area Daily...

This is a great capture, Rose. We quickly forget the thrill of new green leaves coming out on the trees, don't we? Thanks for sharing you photo with us.

Beautiful barn that needs a little TLC oh and a paint job!

Ahhh Rose, such a lovely barn...is it still spring? Gosh in NC we've had 90 plus days for over a month, I forget it still really is; I've thought we'd gone straight to summer; hah!
great photos...

I love this barn! It has so many openings--I wonder why so many. I like how you caught the early spring with just a hint of winter still lingering.

What a neat shape to this barn! Love the peak of it and the vine growing up the side.
PS - your header is awesome!

Fine photos of this old red barn, Rose. And yes, there is really nothing quite as nice as spring when the earth begins to green again!

I love the first shot through the leaves beginning on the trees. There is a feeling of hope! Great rustic barn...lots of charm too!

I like the shielded overhang on the barn. I wonder if that's to provide a pulley for lifting things into the hay mow. That may be spelled wrong. Anyway, a very nice picture.

Beautiful beautiful old barn & I love how you framed the top shot... I'm guessing they don't use this old barn much anymore seeing how the weeds surely prevent that huge door on the side from sliding open! It sure is a beauty, though!

Thanks again for joining Barn Charm, Rose!!! =)

PS I still love your header shot & I'm so glad you've said that about the embedded comments & popup windows! I wish everyone would turn off their double bolt locks on comments, too... it's seriously unnecessary!!!

You make old things into art. The barn is beautiful in your pictures, your eyes find the beauty. The embedded comment form has been a real pain as of lately!!

This is a good one Rose. I love seeing the green now, it makes the barns look so much prettier.

That barn does have a neat shape. There is one similar here. I've never seen anything quite like it.
