Wow, is this actually called A Milkweed Bug? The buds are gorgeous! Phil hates Hedge Bindweed and says it chokes everything else out. The milkweed picture is just gorgeous! It is also a great bug picture, though most bugs are iccky to me.

I don't think I've ever seen bindweed before. It's pretty. The picture of that milkweed bug is amazing.

Gorgeous flower shots captured here! That one is too beautiful to be called a weed. :-)

Beautiful photography! It's amazing how many lovely things of nature are nearby only to be seen and photographed so that we can continue to enjoy them long after the season has passed.

I don't think I've ever seen a milk weed bug.
I'll have to look closer at the milk weeds along the side of the road.
Fabulous photos.

These are gorgeous images. I am not familiar with bind weed but it has a pretty flower. The plant looks really big and I guess could just take over everything. A perfect image of the insect. Beautiful color and detail.

Beautiful buds and flowers! Great photo of the bug.
As for cats and hummingbirds - Hang the feeder up higher than the cat can jump! Do not use those that attach to a porch or deck railing. And hummingbirds fly very fast and never light on the ground - very unlikely that a cat could catch one.
Have a wonderful weekend!
