We thought we had totally lost the hibiscus, but it eventually came up. And has several blooms, but nothing like last year. As far as number is concerned.
But the flowers it does have are huge.
I was not going to post this one since it is in the header, but thought I would go ahead and post it till you can click and expand the view. Do you see the critter?

These are gorgeous images of the Rose of Sharon flower. Beautiful color and exquisite detail. I have 2 of these bushes in my back yard and I love seeing the blooms.

this color is gorgeous, I have not seen hisbiscus in this color, the ones like this here are white or yellow, and a few pale pink. the bud is fantastic and my favorite.

Such vibrant color. From the wonderful images you post I assume you have fully recuperated from past fractures and those horrendous Fracture blisters. Yes, as you suggested, I googled, looked and promptly had an inkling of the suffering you experienced.
And about stroke, so glad your husband's sense of humor is intact. The stroke survivor's journey is a challenge for both the one whose body no longer operates the same as pre-stroke and for the spouse whose life and responsibilities change drastically, too.
It appears Your husband and I are both blessed with courageous partners who "stick" for better or worse.

Beautiful capture of the hibiscus! I was just taking some photos of hibiscus today. We have three varieties and bloom at different times which keeps the garden in color. We, too, were worried we lost ours after the frigid temperatures we experienced in February.
